  29. I can attest to messdos being just as good (in the old days when I had an 
  30. A500).  Messdos was also easier to install than crossdos, etc..  And also used 
  31. df0: as the peecee device?  (very convinient)

  33. As a bit of advice, you can move files bigger than 720k (v.useful), by using a 
  34. splitter on the PC, the the "join" command in Amiga Shell/CLI.  Two 
  35. pc/amiga(/unix) splitters are available on the Aminet, and have a splitter & 
  36. joiner commands for each platform :) .  Although the "Join" command is 
  37. probably over 10 times faster, for some reason! (on an Hd)
